Here at Manchester Road Primary Academy, we continue to support you and your children during this uncertain time. We recognise many parents will be worried about how to help their child learn whilst at home. I have been in touch with many parents already and many children with special educational needs have online access to a variety of platforms and interventions from home. In addition, please find some useful links below. I will continue to update this throughout the period of school closure.
I continue to be available Monday to Wednesday 9am to 3.30pm via the school office 01613703079 - Best Wishes Mrs. Emma Brennan

Returning to School
As you may be aware children in Early Years, Year 1 and Year 6 will be returning to school on 8th June. In order to meet the Government Guidelines on social distancing and keeping children safe, your child may be in a new classroom (to reduce class sizes) or with a new teacher. Class teachers are contacting all parents/carers this week with specific details for each child in these Year groups. Please rest assured, school are taking every measure to ensure a smooth transition back into school and the safety or every child is our utmost priority.
For some children, this sudden return to school may be worrying or difficult to understand. Below are links to useful websites and helpful tools to help prepare your child for the return to school and to help your child communicate how they are feeling.
In the meantime, should you have any concerns please speak to your child's teacher or myself.
Best Wishes
